Ms. LaTanya Green currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer with a support team comprised of parents, professionals and educators who have a common passion for encouraging positive change and growth using evidence-based strategies.

Our history
BBNBFRC is a family resource center. The President of BBNB served as a foster parent and community Activist for over 25 years. In 2010the vision of Bruised But Not Broken began as a Women’s support group and by 2021 the concept grew into a family resource center.
Our Vision
BBNBFRC is designed to provide children, youth, families, and seniors with a pathway to knowledge in education, job training, financial literacy, emergency housing, and solutions for food insecurities with empowerment for dignity and hope while serving disenfranchised families.
Our mission
The mission of Bruised But Not Broken Family Resource Center”
is to administer subsidized and free afterschool and summer academic counseling/tutorial, mentorship, and leadership programs. Senior Citizens physical activities (dance) games, and nutrition/health programs. Our youth and adults writing and reading literacy programs; G.E.D. program and S.T.E.M. Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. a.) Bringing Financial Literacy/Banking of Today to our Resource Center and into the future. B.)Job Preparedness. C.) Life Skills. D.) Parenting Skills. E.) Co-Parenting. F.) Gardening. G.) Group Homes, Jail/Prison and Veterans Re-Entry Programs. H.)Emergency Services: Homeless Assistance, Food Bank and Transportation.
